Now let's check out yet another horrid-looking forged Joe DiMaggio baseball "authenticated" by GFA (Stephen Rocchi) and sold by Ebay seller Bianc.fre
I can honestly state, that in my almost seven years of looking at autographs authenticated by GFA, I have yet to observe any authentic Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, etc.
If you read my thread titled "Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators, What Methods Do They Use (link above), that says it all.
Here is that laughable forged Joe DiMaggio baseball sold by Ebay seller Bianc.fre for $202.50.
Why does crap like this sell on Ebay?
Because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers; and they also believe all of that "Forensic BS."
By the way, a little common sense tells you that an authentic Joe DiMaggio autographed baseball with the inscription #5 isn't going to sell for a paltry $202.50.
Forensics have zero to do with opining autographs.
Here's a forged Mickey Mantle baseball sold by Ebay seller Bianc.fre
It sold for a whopping $137.50.
If this was an authentic Mickey Mantle autographed Budig baseball, it would have sold for at least $1,500.00.
This is laughable.
