As you can see just below, Ebay seller Gofsu2010 continues to list and sell GFA (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators and Stephen Rocchi) certed forgeries of Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Roger Maris, etc.

As a matter of fact, Ebay seller Gofsu2010 just sold the below Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris forgeries for a whopping $202.50 (that final bid price speaks volumes).

The below Mantle and Maris forgeries were penned by a forger whose work is laughable.

Roger Maris passed away in 1985 and yet these pieces (and there are numerous ones of the below piece with "Mantle" and "Maris") look like they were penned recently.

Totally absurd!!

Now let's dissect the auction description of Ebay seller Gofsu2010 where he praises Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators group,

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "Stephen Rocchi was instrumental in the history of autograph authentication, and with the formation of GFA, has raised the bar again."

The above is a bad joke, Ebay seller Gofsu2010.  You sell a Mantle/Maris for $202.50 and you claim that Stephen Rocchi has "Raised the bar again?"

When did he raise the bar in the first place?

Show me proof, Ebay seller Gofsu2010, that Rocchi had anything to do with autograph authentication when he was at PSA.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 also writes "GFA is responsible for dramatic improvements throughout the autograph industry which will forever change the way real autographs are bought and sold."

Seriously?

Then why is Rocchi authenticating forgery after forgery after forgery?

Your own listing and selling of forgeries, Ebay seller Gofsu2010, is proof that Rocchi is clueless about autographs or complicit.  There is zero gray area there.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "Stephen sought out trained Forensic experts in law enforcement /court certified examiners to properly handle documents as they are done for the FBI and the judicial system."

Forensics have almost nothing to do with opining an autograph.

Forensics can be used to date an item,  but that would be irrelevant here, since the thousands of Mickey Mantle Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Roger Maris and Ted Williams autographs "authenticated" by Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators are obvious and laughable forgeries.

But what would be interesting is to have all of those matted and framed Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams forgeries authenticated by GFA (Stephen Rocchi) and have that paper "Scientifically Dissected."

That crap, which is also sold (for over five years now) over at AtAuction (John House, CEO) is always matted and framed.

Even if a buyer of those forgeries wanted to submit them to PSA or JSA, they wouldn't be able to do it with the item matted and framed (is that why they are matted and framed?).

John House has been selling the same forgeries over and over (hot off the presses) for over five years and yet he calls them all "Limited Editions."

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 also writes "With over 100 years of law enforcement experience GFA has found a scientific process to determine if the autograph in question is genuine. You no longer get an opinion you get a determination based on scientific principles and processes."

The above has ZERO to do with opining autographs.  It is written to sway and lure wannabe autograph collectors and suckers into believing that "scientific determination" can be used to determine whether an autograph is authentic or a forgery.

Again laughable.

It also allows scammers to hide behind that "GFA Process."

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "GFA Authenticators are selected from an elite group of world class forensically trained and court certified document and signature examiners.   Each authenticator is experienced not only in the GFA forensic process, but also guided by an advisory board of the top document and signature examiners in the world."

You have to be kidding me, Ebay seller Gofsu2010.  That's laughable.

If Rocchi needed to perform a "Scientific Analysis" of the laughable Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris forgeries, then he is either clueless or complicit.

Ebay seller Ebay Gofsu2010 also writes "Today, signatures that have been signed in the past, signed in the presence or signed recently,  deserve the respect of a thorough examination as the signer of the item intended when it was signed.   An opinion based on whom submitted the item, the population of the item and an authenticator that has not been trained in the scientific approach does not give the customer the type of examination they should expect and deserve.  GFA gives you a determination based on science not an opinion of a collector or dealer but a statement of fact by a trained forensic document and signature examiner."

The below is the result of the above statements made by Ebay seller Gofsu2010.

Two piece-of-crap Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris forgeries!!!

Recent forgeries below sold by Ebay seller Gofsu2010 and "authenticated" by Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators group.

To get a closer view of the below images, please click your mouse on each image.

If you believe all of that "Forensic" bull-crap and that "Scientific Analysis" BS, then you're either naive (a wannabe autograph collector, impulse buyer or sucker) or a scammer hiding behind the GFA COA.

And I will repeat one more time, there would be ZERO "Forensic" or "Scientific Analysis" needed to opine on the below laughable Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris signatures.

These are obvious and laughable forgeries that can be opined in a split second, just like the other Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Roger Maris and 500 Homerun Club forgeries sold by Ebay seller Gofsu2010 and "authenticated" by Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators group.

its about time that someone dissected the moronic statements by that seller (and others involved in the deceit) to put this pathetic excuse for a "legitimate" authentication company in its proper place.  Great job on this, Christopher.

Thank you, Terrier.

"Moronic" is an understatement.

Very high level moron and jack wagon rip off artist. I hope he chokes on his food these forgeries have provided ala Mama Cass choking on her ham sandwich.

I hope I live long enough o see them held accountable by someone, financial or otherwise.. Truly disgusting acts on behalf of a major Corporation which is E-Bay.

Couldn't be happier to have QUIT those Cheater efers at E-BAY.

I know a bit of time goes into posting these to alert buyers of scam... Good job on the work Chris....  I also see some of the cert #'s are all in a row again... so they were either certed in a batch by the seller or bought in a "lot".

Thank you, Wascher.

I know I post a ton of threads of Ebay sellers listing and selling GFA-certed crap, but I do it for reason, and that is to make sure that those who may search GFA, will pick up on something.

In my opinion, sellers of that GFA-certed crap know 100% what they are selling and they think they are hiding behind the GFA shield, but they are responsible for what they sell and for their auction descriptions.

Chris,

Just think of all of the "collections" out there that people are proud of (and show off to all of their family and friends), not knowing they are full of junk.

Peter, you are absolutely correct.

All of that "Lipstick On A Pig" cheap matting and framing.

Here's another set of obvious and laughable Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris forgeries with a COA from GFA (Stephen Rocchi) and penned by the same dopey forger.

These are listed by Ebay seller Rbisportsinc, who also lists dozens of GFA-certed forgeries.

Fortunately, the GFA-certed forgeries listed by Ebay seller Rbisportsinc don't sell because the wannabe autograph collectors won't that crap at the prices they have them listed it.

It is truly sickening what GFA and GA are getting away with. Laughable junk. Organized crime.

GFA, GA AND E-Effin BAY~!

The above "500 Homerun Club" set of forgeries was sold by Ebay seller Gofsu2010 just two days ago for $382.00 and yet tonight (10/12/2015) Ebay seller Gofsu2010 has re-listed it.

Here is the original sale of his forgeries.
