Ebay Seller Gofsu2010 Sells Another Forged Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris Safe At Home Poster

Ebay seller Gofsu2010, who is probably the biggest seller of GFA-certed forgeries, just sold another set of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris forgeries on one of those reproduced "Safe At Home" posters.

The people who continue to buy this crap are idiots.  Period.

I've exposed Ebay seller Gofsu2010 numerous times here and I will continue to expose GFA (Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators group) certed crap.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 lists and sells the same GFA-certed forgeries every two or three days.

Let's take a quick look at the Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris forgeries listed by Ebay seller Gofsu2010.

First, you have to be a moron to think that you purchased an authentic set of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris autographs for $222.50; especially one on a "Safe At Home" poster.

This is the second set of these forgeries that Ebay seller Gofsu2010 has sold within the last 48 hours.

I believe he has sold at two dozen of these.

Just try to find an authentic set of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris autographs on an original "Safe At Home" poster.

But Ebay seller Gofsu2010 pumps these out like hotcakes.

Honest question here. Do you think the GFA folks are simply terrible authenticators, or are they producing this stuff?

Matt, good question.

I don't think Rocchi is producing this crap, but the people that send that crap to him already know ahead of time that he will "authenticate" everything submitted to him (Rocchi).

Rocchi has been "authenticating" the "Florida" forgeries since Sept. 2011.

I think they're just crooks...

Yep, Don.  It's all one big scam.

A very organized scam that's been going on for five years.

one of the things they do that has drawn attention from the inexperienced collector is using very unusual poses for their forgeries.

Correct, Terrier.

They use poses that Mantle, DiMaggio, etc. never autographed when they were alive.

I read your comment here and terrier8hof too....it struck me that what you say seems to be true...i have watch MM signed pics and items since the mid 80s and i too have noticed a crop of new pictures that i have never seen before...some are really nice ones that i would have gotten 20 years ago if they had been available....interesting that you picked up on that....i thought i was the only one thinking it....best wishes....as mick would say...
