Here is another forged/counterfeit Willie Mays "1996-97" Topps Commemorative card that sold on Ebay.

It was sold by Ebay seller Simssiste for $42.00.

There are dozens upon dozens of forged Willie Mays Topps cards being listed and sold on Ebay.

This makes it extremely difficult for those sellers with authentic Willie Mays autographs to sell their cards.

I will continue to expose those that sell these forged/counterfeit cards.

For those who see this, I wanted to reply to this discussion post as I'm the seller of this Willie Mays card. I was unaware this was a counterfeit card. I purchased a Live Hit Parade Break through Dave and Adams Card World and the Willie Mays was one of the cards. I'm very disappointed to find out this way. It was brought to my attention from a fellow ebay member who reached out to me and told me. I've since contacted the member who purchased the card from me and reimbursed them there money back. I respect my buyers and I hope they would do the same to me. I posted the Live Video of the break below showing the Hit Parade Break.

That's very commendable of you, Steve. It sucks that fakes are making their way into official products from such reputable companies as Dave and Adam's.  I see no wrong doing on your part. You purchased the product as an official and authentic product, and I'm sure 95% of people would have done the same. The fact that you found out it was fake and quickly rectified it, speaks volumes of your character. Hopefully Dave and Adam's is as honest as your are and refunds your money. Hopefully they also invest some resources into catching the crook who is creating these fakes. Christopher Williams invests a lot of time helping collectors from purchasing these bad products, so kudos to him as well.

Thank you Harald,

The Director of Hit Parade did reach out to me as I emailed Dave and Adams and they are reimbursing my money back and the employee who purchased those counterfeit Willie Mays Cards is no longer with there company.
