Ok, now I'm new to examining Elton's signatures. I'm noticing quite a number of changes over the years. I've found some other examples of the autograph style I found, authenticated by Beckett. I'll attach a few similar examples, and embed the autograph I found.

The signed Carribou album is fine and vintage signature.

Very impressive, Richard.

Would you believe me if I told you that I found it in the one-dollar bin at a record shop today?

Fantastic!

Wow! What an amazing find!

I agree. Nice vintage Elton John signature.

Here is an example from 1979

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I've found signed books at thrift shops over the years, but nothing ever this cool. In case you wanted to see the whole cover, here it is. I think I'll leave the $1 sticker on it. Hah.

I'd say leave it on for fun, but the longer it's on the harder it is to remove without leaving a trace.
