Elvis postcard authenticity opinions please?
Hi
I purchased this Elvis autograph as a birthday gift. Can anyone give me your opinion on its authenticity?
It has a COA from ACA (I've never heard of them).
Greatly appreciate anyone's opinion!

David - This is an interesting discussion. Are you are still waiting for the PSA quick opinion? Also, can you post a link to the eBay seller's other listings? Sometimes that gives a clearer picture of things to see what else they are offering.

Yes, I haven’t gotten their results yet but the positive comment from Roger Epperson is definitely a tremendous relief.
If PSA agrees with Roger’s opinion I’ll be doubly happy but if it doesn’t, I’d probably value Roger’s more since he specializes in music.I’ll report what PSA says when I hear back from them. Fingers crossed!

So, PSA’s opinion was that it “is likely not genuine.”
Roger Epperson believes it is authentic, PSA says it likely isn’t.

Rick Chin is a test account I use to look at the site as a regular member. I posted this first from that account since it was signed in a different browser.
I think Roger is probably right on this.
It has some characteristics that I'm not used to seeing including the pen pressure, speed and flow, although Elvis often signed roughly. But I went to RR Auction's database of Elvis autographs they sold and there are early ones with some of the characteristics of yours that I feel are undoubtedly genuine.

Whether Beckett passes it or not, hang on for a few more opinions here and make your decision then. I'd definitely get Roger's LOA if you decide to keep it.

I asked earlier about Frolic Gallery, not because I wanted to be intrusive, but because it really can sometimes be important to know the source to get a better picture of things. As Eric mentioned above, many forgers on eBay have stellar feedback which is really disheartening.
I've never come across their name before or know anything about their offereings...maybe others do.

I've never heard of them either and I've never heard of the certification service before and they're forensic document examiners—all of which are HUGE warning signs. But sometimes the blind squirrel gets the nut.

Well, just looking over the items on in their eBay store, Frolic looks like a mixed bag IMO. They are in Montreal and have quite a few items authenticated by JSA. There are also items which only have letters from the Canadian company ACA.
Here's something of Frolic's authenticated by ACA....a Marlon Brando that is most certainly not Brando:

Well, that's certainly not good.
At this point the only thing on the plus side is that Roger thinks it looks legit and it does have some similarities to some of the auction items. Roger's opinion does weigh heavily though
