Interesting. There are better members on Elvis but it looks good to me. I don't think a forger would add such a long inscription which tends to make me more comfortable about it. I know there are some good Elvis forgeries tho and hopefully others will chime in.
It looks close enough for me to, at least, get Roger Epperson's opinion on it if I considering it to purchase.
That's pretty nice...
Elvis worked at the Loews theatre in Memphis as an usher for Mr. Arthur Groom.
One day Elvis had a little bit of a fist fight with another young employee. Mr. Groom fired Elvis but eventually hired him back.
Can you imagine the irony when...5 years later...give or take....Elvis is sitting in the same theatre starring in his very own Hollywood productions!!
It's 1958...
Here's Elvis and Arthur Groom, the theatre manager to whom the autograph is dedicated...
It's obvious Elvis had some affection and respect for his former boss...
That makes this signed photo even better. Thanks, Don for sharing this. Karsten, would you mean, I would like to see the entire photo. I'll finish the way I started, "Nice!!".
I like it! I'd get Roger on it too, tho.
