Fake Michael Jordan?

Good Morning,

I was hoping you could help me determine whether or not this is a legitimate Michael Jordan signed piece.

I have done my best to determine whether or not this is authentic, however I have not found a definitive answer.

When I contacted Upper Deck, I received the infamous message stating that the authenticity of the signature could not be determined.

Thank you for your reply. No worries about not being an expert. I am hoping to get some clarity regarding the authenticity of the piece...and I'll take it in any way I can! Hoping others will chime in as well.

I know Jordan may be somewhat "boring" in terms on signatures, but my concerns lie more with the types of counterfeits that are circulating. Sad to say it, but in today's world I am not surprised by much anymore! Too many food fakes out there.

Good UDA item. Those pesky old UDA certs that UD won't verify have been a pain for years. I have researched them considerably. They are often good buys because buyers shy away due to UD's unwillingness to verify.

But I have seen this one many times. Great item.

It's really a shame that UDA can't verify some of their own stuff. It's a bad situation because it's so unfair to both the owner and the prospective owner.

It's the reason you see cross authenticated UD items. To get the best price some resort to sending their authentic UDA item to PSA. It adds unnecessary cost and hassle. It would be nice if UD backed up their products. UDA items are real, but UD has never been known as a company that cared much about customer service.
