Hi guys, Could someone please tell me if they have heard of Global Authentics or The Academy Of Manuscript?

I could be buying a very expensive item that staes that it has been dually authenticated by both companies and I would really appreciate any feedback people have before I buy the item.

Many thanks

Brendan

I would post the item for opinions.

You should always evaluate the autograph independent of whoever else reviewed it previously. That said, there are certain "authenticators" whose abysmal track record is a strong indicator of which way the evaluation is going to go.

By the way, here is a blog post regarding an item with an Academy of Manuscript and Autograph COA:

Thank you both so much for the informative and valuble information that you have provided me. I am new to collecting and it is great to know that gentlemen like you guys are willing to help people like me.

I am afraid i can not upload any pictures of the items as they have been sent to a secure website that has been watermarked. Hi Carl, Yes the item is music related, it is hand written poems and lyrics written and signed by Tupac Shakur. I had an absolute nightmare trying to find authentic Tupac items and i am aware that it is quite hard to get hold of such authentic memoribillia.

I also put up a post earlier today with the link for a  cigar and champagne glass signed by Tupac and used in one of his music videos. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Tupac-2PAC-Mu...#ht_500wt_1203

It says that the listing has ended but I contacted the owner and he still has the item and is willing to sell it to me for a big sum of money. If the item is authentic i will buy it but it is so hard to determine what is authentic and what is fake.

If you guys could give me your views on this item i would also be very greatful.

Many thanks

Brendan

Sorry, I am not familiar with Tupac Shakur's autograph. I suggest contacting Roger Epperson who may be able to help or at least point you in the right direction.

Brendan,

If you do a search of this site you should find a discussion about the eBay item you sent a link to. It was not thought to be genuine.
I couldn't find the discussion in it, so it must have been linked to the eBay image, and sometime after it disappeared the discussion must have been deleted.

Thank you for your input Steve, it's very much appreciated. Looks like i am gonna stay well clear of that item now.

Thank you guys, And this item is seperate to the one i mentioned earlier. The signed cigar and champagne glass is certified by Death Row but the owner told me that the certificate is signed by Suge Knight but he is not sure if the signature on the COA is a print or real pen. I thought that was a bit strange?

There you go Carl Ryan's personal opinion!! Yeah Carl you are the man!!

If you personally have an issue with my company then contact me directly and lets go over your issues and examples. Brendan, if you have any questions please contact me at ssipe@globalauthentic.com or my cell phone 949 701-7767.

Thank you,

Steve Sipe

Global Authentics

Brendan I saw the same glass and cigar on ebay when it was listed. I did a PSA quick opinion and they said likely not genuine.

Brendan before you send your stuff into Global check out the great job they did on grading this wax pack.

GAI graded packs and trading cards, they went out of business in 2009. Before you make these baseless claims Jfella know what you are talking about prior to your post. Global Authentics LLC does not grade cards or packs.
