Hi- I recently saw a beautiful signed picture of Lucille Ball signed "Love Lucy Ball" (see pic below). I have a few authentic signed pieces given to me as a child by Ms. Ball and all but one was signed Love Lucy. Only one- a vintage piece, was signed "Lucille Ball" but I've never seen a "Lucy Ball" signed pic. Anyone have experience with this version of her name and do you think it could be authentic? Looking forward to your feedback... -Syren

Don't follow her that much. But she usually signs, "Love, Lucy" or "Lucille Ball". The signed picture doesn't look right. Avoid!

Thanks for your opinion Joe. I don't have a problem with the signature style. Looks pretty close to other authentic examples. Problem is, it's not a script that's hard to forge. I could do it easily. At the end of the day It's the combination of "Lucy" with "Ball" that has me bothered. I've never seen another exemplar like it. You're right- one to avoid.
