Has anyone out there experienced a time when JSA told you a real signature is a fake? I know that they have certified questionable signatures as real. Just wondering.

Steve,

Since I am not making friends very fast here, I am going to post 7 pictures of signatures of Aaron Rodgers, 1-7 from the top. Three of the seven I own, the rest are exemplars, all but 2 are certified authentic by one or more of the premier authentication companies. Since Rodgers has signed differently over the course of his career, thus the exemplars. This is not a test or challenge, just wanting to get thoughts from those members who wish to participate. I hope the photos can be viewed well enough, if not I will try something different. Thank you to those who give me some feedback in advance.

I'm a huge Packers fan and quickly gave up on any effort to get Rodgers' signature nailed down. Buy it from a signing or don't buy it - that's my take. His autograph has always been a simple AR (which makes it kind of hilarious how bad forgers are at it sometimes). I wouldn't fault JSA for not authenticating them without having been in the presence.

I would fault them if they aren't of the opinion that it isn't authentic. If they charged for evaluating the signature, they should have a strong opinion one way or the other. Otherwise, they should have given it an "inconclusive." I certainly wouldn't fault them for that.

Those photos are large enough. I'll let people who know Rogers give their opinions.

Is what JSA rejected among them?

Steve, yes they are included in the photo

Great, thanks! That adds to the credibility of your claims.

As a devoted bears fan, I can barely stomach reading Rodgers’ name, let alone study his cheesy Green Bay sig. For THAT reason - Im out!

lol

Understand, thanks Dude

Are 4 and 6 the two not certified?

Number 4 is Certified, 6 is not.

"I find your reply quite interesting.

"but the crowds I run in just have to have them or they just don't believe it's real and will not buy."

These people know you? And your qualifications? And they still don't believe you?

You are running with the wrong crowd. I have never run into a serious collector who doesn't do their homework first regardless of a sticker or not." - JoeW

Well said, Joe.

I know zero about Rodgers or his signature. From my quick look, it seems 1 and 3 are identical or nearly so.

Overall, it does not appear like the same hand signed all of these to me.
