...Been reading the whole PSA/DNA and JSA debate.  I'm new to collecting Reds items for myself and kiddos - If I have a MLB authenticated ball, should I leave it as is, or spend the extra $ to send it to those guys?

Just curious, sorry for being a noob.

Cheers.

MLB authentication is first hand, witnessed verification. It is as secure and reliable as you can get. There is no need to send it to anyone else.

I agree with Steve.  There is no need to spend the additional money to send it to PSA or JSA.

Thank you all very much for that advice.  :-)
