What do you see? If it's a forgery it's deinitely mid-sixties period job. Has a COA, oxidation of the wood where all the pen chemicals touched it. Thanks kindly for your response. Doug

All of which can be faked, just like the signatures. There was one genuine Beatles signed guitar lost in a landslide and there is just one more - Steve will remember where it is. I don't believe there are any/many more. A good bunch of flat on high-res photos would be nice to see. Did George even sign like that in the mid 60's - is that not a C. 1980/90's signature style? What kind of ink is that also?

I’d be in the 100% not genuine camp. George’s signature style is way off for the time period. The slant on Paul’s signature is wrong and John’s and Ringo’s aren’t much better. Maybe post a pic of the COA as that might add to the story. There is a seller in Las Vegas I think that was selling 4 or 5 Beatles signed guitars and just about every Lp all signed all fake. Your guitar looks like one of their items.

It’s not the angle the signature is written at it’s the slant within the signature. Can you post s picture of the COA?

The signatures on the guitar are not real. Several things immediately ring untrue: the forger(s) (unsuccessfully) tried to duplicate classic Beatles 60's signatures - until they got to George, then went for his later style, a dumb mistake considering the other 3 are fairly consistent with the earlier period. Another 'tell' is John's XXXXXXX or whatever it is underneath; it's pure nonsense and part of another forger's inimitable style. Lastly, these signatures are boldly signed, a near impossible feat, meaning you'd have to find them alone or in someone's home to allow for the unhurried pace these signatures reveal. Nope, this is junk, but fun eye candy to an amateur collector who believes they got the deal of the century.
