Hey everybody!

It's weird to think this is my first time on the site, I could swear I have been here before.

My name is Troy, or TTM Troy as some people know me by. I do a lot of collecting videos on YouTube, and a few months ago started on Instagram (which was a whole new world...) and have a Facebook page like many people here.

I got into collecting back in the mid 80's when I got my first celebrity autograph IP - Janet Fielding from Dr. Who and have been hooked ever since. I am mainly a TTM collector, hence the nickname, but I enjoy doing the "not so IP IPs" ie: conventions and signings, and the occasional real IP.

I am looking forward to being more involved with this site as I get to know people here. I am also working on a self-published (unless I try to find a publisher, but I did that once and pretty much only made my advance and a little spending money) book that is slanted a lot towards TTMs but also the hobby in general.  Don't worry, I have no intention of spamming when it comes out - I don't work that way.

I have been reading up on a lot of discussions here, and really enjoy everybody's authenticity (pun intended) and realize my style of collecting as a hobby may be completely different than a lot of members who collect high-end memorabilia. I enjoy getting people started in TTM collecting and seeing where they take their collections. And the discussions here on high-end guitars, albums, and memorabilia is really great.

I'm a bit apprehensive about some of the arguments/hostility lobbed around, but understand it is part of the environment where dealers and collectors meet. 

I am not sure if any of my friends are here or not, so if you are say hi, and again - hope to meet some more of you and become an active member.
