Purchased this for $275 off of eBay. It has a Fine Art Wholesalers, Inc. certificate of authenticity. I was wondering if this is fake or real

Hi Sam,

Sorry to say those are well-known forgeries. The Mantle is most evident. I believe these are signed by machine.

is that specific authenticator well-known for forgeries? Fine Art Wholesalers, Inc.

sorry but this is a well-documented mass produced forgery.  Please get your money back.

is there a link to show me it's mass produced? thanks

there have been hundreds of discussions on this site regarding these forgeries.  Try the search field.

100% fake.

Can you send me 100% proof that this specific piece is fake? or the authenticators?

you came here for free opinions and you got several. Even when you pay PSA or JSA for an opinion, that is all you get.  Steve sent you a link to Chris Williams' discussions on this forgery style.  That is all the proof you need. Be proactive, study the signatures and learn.  You seem to be hung up on COA's.  Try submitting this to one of the quick opinion services from PSA or Beckett and see what comes back.  The price alone should be a red flag.

i'm on the side of thinking it's fraud. I just wanted to see if there's any definitive proof showing this exact COA as fake or anything directly showing me it's fake

Sam, once you get to know what the authentic signatures look like, their characteristics, you will clearly see that these are fake.  We have nothing to gain by telling you the truth about these.

i agree with you. however there is someone who isn't as willing to believe people online. Is there any concrete evidence you can give me that will show this particular piece or authenticator is fake? I'm in the process of proving it's fraud to a person.
