When all was said and done this cost my daughter $325.  Long story short she just wanted the ultimate gift for her boyfriends graduation from nursing school.  She purchased two items from the same seller to put in a shadow box.  Live and learn

Indeed! Anyone selling fully signed Star Wars posters for $200(!) or a Michael Jackson for $400(!) in Hong Kong (or anywhere else!) with Best Offers on each needs to be avoided - all cheap forgeries! So your daughter will be receive a full refund including shipping both ways? What was the other item?

An arc reactor. I had her charge it on my credit card for that extra safety net.  My credit card company is being very good about it, just want all the documentation.

I am very glad to hear this is working out :) Good for you and your daughter (and her boyfriend)!

Well at least you got some of the info you needed to help smooth things out, sorry you had a bad experience but unfortunately we’ve all been there, we will learn from this minor mistakes so we don’t make bigger ones in the future, if she ever feels the need to purchase another Stan lee signature I will sale her one at a discounted price most of my items are already authenticated but if a  particular item she’s interested in is not authenticated i will pay the fee myself or knock  off the signature review fee from the price, I’m very sorry and I know you feel like your daughter got duped but please don’t let one bad apple ruin the bunch, some of us collectors/investors really love this hobby and it’s foes like this seller that ruin the hobby we hold so dearly, might sound like a bad thing but even though I felt the signatures were not authentic I was  kind a hoping that Beckett would have passed them as authentic so you and your daughter wouldn’t have to go through this mess, plus it would have proved me wrong which usually happens anyway lol

all the best

We all live and learn in this hobby.  Have her look for something that is authenticated by a TPA, or even a Stan Lee autographed comic book that was witnessed by CGC.  She can spend $300 on it, and he will be very appreciative of the gift.  It will also be authentic.

+1 I personally would avoid one with the sticker on the front...but yes.

Ha!  There it is.  The sticker on the front debate.  Great detective work on the seller, Eric.

I am sorry that it did not work out for you.  I am also very happy that you were able to utilize this forum for assistance.  007 is asking a very pertinent question.  Many times, the purchase price is an indication of whether or not an item is authentic or not.  What was the cost of the mask?  If you would rather not answer, would you at least tell us if you paid $200 for it?

Thanks Mike. Stickers! ARGHHHH! :)

Supposed to be signed in August, 2017? A clear forgery based on an earlier example.

Out of curiosity, why did you ask about the manufacturing date of the mask?  Any info you have would be appreciated
