Dennis, do you know why the forgery industry is so huge;
Because of exactly what you wrote (I have compared it with others and it looks like the others); forgeries are directed at people who don't know autographs; forgeries are meant to have the appearance of looking authentic to those who don't know autographs.
That's why the forgery industry is so successful and flourishing (especially on Ebay).
