I have no fears about the authenticity of this particular autograph but I do have some reservations about the identity of the signer. I believe it is Betty Hutton, circa 1950's.

Examples online vary wildly but it appears she had a wildly varying life - including substance abuse etc. Quite a sad story - estranged from her children at the end, none of whom were "allowed" (or wished?) to attend her funeral. Grim.

Can't help chuckling to myself thinking - who the heck will recognize or care about this name apart from Eddy or Eric, perhaps, so relying on you guys but all opinions welcome!
