Hi, I was hoping for opinions on this JFK signature from 1960. It is on a campaign brochure. Seller claims to have obtained the signature in 1960 when he was a child. Thanks in advance for all replies.

I think it's got a shot at being authentic

In my opinion, it is definitely authentic.

In my opinion, it's a forgery.

Thanks, Herman.

Allen, Herman really knows presidents.
Unfortunately, Herman is wrong this time. This is a clear example of Kennedy's "campaign-style" signature. I have four authentic JFK autographs and number five is on the way. I've been studying Kennedy sigs quite a bit over the last two years. I still have to refer to my exemplars many times as JFK had many signature styles. It's quite amazing how many different ways he would sign things.
Herman, this is one example of JFK's campaign style signature that he used during the 1960 election season when he was on the run and signing in crowds.
Thanks for all of the replies, I really appreciate it.
Allen if you get a good deal and want a real JFK, don't pass this up. It will pass PSA OR JSA.
Thanks James, I really appreciate your input. What you're saying makes perfect sense because the seller says that he acquired the signature at a JFK campaign stop in West Virginia in 1960. What would you consider a good deal for this? I think I may be able to get it for $1000 - $1200.
I think that's a good price range. JFK prices are all over the place. White House letters often go for around $3500. Senate letters about $1500-$2500. Any JFK sig should be valued at at east $1000. I've seen things like this go for $750 to $2000. But getting one for $750 would be a steal, particularly since this is signed on a nice looking brochure. If you can get it for $1000, you will have scored a nice piece at a good price.
Allen, here is one that is very similar to the one in this discussion. This one was available at Nate Sanders auctions.

Note the similarities.
