Hello,

Found this ball among some of my father's items.  Strange that he would have this, as he grew up in Philadelphia as a Phillies fan (as I am) and has a lot of vintage Phillies stuff.  Just wanted an opinion from the experts as to whether or not it is likely real.  Unfortunately I don't know how or where he got it, but I would suspect that somebody gave it to him and that he did not personally obtain it like most of the other signed items that I found.

I think it looks good

Thanks for your opinion.  I am hoping some of the other experts on the site will weigh in as well.  I have read through some other threads on DiMaggio, Mantle, and Williams and it's still a bit confusing to me.

I do not like this one at all. Far too neat IMO. Just not seeing any positive traits I look for in an authentic Joe D signature. I'm sure some others will opine.

I have concerns about this as well. While it is not slow enough to call it wobbly, it appears deliberate and lacks flow. Carefully constructed J and D.

Also, the shrink wrap is a red flag. While it is by no means definitive, it seemed to be a common practice among a number of bad sellers.
