Following some obvious forgeries offered at auction recently is this example the worst we have seen ...offered by Simon Parr auctions in the UK

Simon Parr Auctions is riddled with forgeries. All of the MJ's are horribly bad (see the latest entries on the MJ drawings thread)-not one legit item and there are tons of them. They have artwork from artists that all look identical to each-other (but are different artists) as well. I look at them no different than Coaches Corner, but in another Country.

I'd stay away from Simon Parr. The majority of the items he auctions off are not genuine.

I believe Simon Parr is a hustler. For instance, there was an autographed John Lennon "White Album" he was auctioning off a couple of month ago. I wrote him about the provenance, and he responded back stating it was currently being sent off to PSA. Months later, he has a signed "Double Fantasy" album with the SAME signature. That's when I knew the Lennon albums were bogus; Lennon did not have that style during his last months.
