Not sure but more likely fake than real , a good forgery if its fake

Of course it can be wrong. The COA ultimately only indicates that someone paid someone or some place to render an opinion. It does not necessarily mean the opinion is correct. It may be - it may not be. It is very good you asked about authenticity before buying - most do not. In my opinion it is best to educate yourself rather than relying heavily on third party opinions/coa's.

If you went to eBay and saved a scan of a Connery you thought good and posted it here for opinions you would be receiving the very same advice as if you bought it and then inquired here.

There are four differences to note between the approach of self education and either having something certified yourself or looking to purchase an already certified item - what is below applies to all:

1) Opinions here are free.

2) The opinions here are often given by someone who possess much more knowledge of the signature you with to collect.

3) Here you get multiple opinions, at once, from many eyes - companies give whatever opinion they determine. It may have been seen by 1, 2 or 3 people.

4) Here you get to ask questions - with certification companies you do not even know who has examined your item.

They are human and can make mistakes as well. Although, in all fairness, they do help decrease the possibility of the autograph being a forgery substantially. Opinions are just that; opinions. Some better than others. One should never have blind faith in anything; especially autographs.

In the same note. Depending on who the seller is that submitted the items then sometimes these companies actually increase the possibility of a forgery being sold.

I obtained a Peyton Manning autograph from his Foundation years ago.  I sent it in and asked PSA to verify it.  They said it was fake.  I sent an email to the Foundation asking them about it.  They insisted it was signed by him.  This email came from his personal assistant at the Foundation.  I then sent the same item to JSA.  It passed with no issues.  They are only giving their opinion and their opinion isn't always right.

Can you show the card? Personal assistant insist all the time such autographs are real or they are in the dark about these things. We have seen this here many times. PSA said no, JSA said yes - but suppose you sent it to GAI or Drew Max for example, one of those, it will likely pass even if not genuine. Self education is best (and cheapest).
