James Dean "signed" photos from PIECE OF THE PAST, INC.

Another ongoing thread has asked about thoughts on the dealership Piece Of The Past, Inc..

I've been doing a James Dean study. Here are two samples of James Dean photos claimed to have been signed to Dean's fan club president. These both originated from Piece Of The Past, Inc..

The second one has a Tamino Autographs watermark on it. Tamino has sourced from Piece Of The Past, Inc. (including Marlon Brando items).

Both places to be avoided. Did someone say some of this passed a TPG or was that something else?

Currently, amongst the authenticated Dean autographs imaged on the exemplars page on their site, PSA/DNA display items that originated from both Piece Of The Past, Inc. as well as the equally infamous Heroes And Legends.

Both of those dealerships have been prolific in producing Dean forgeries. Their output has regularly passed TPAs as well as sold through major auction houses.

It's been sobering to study.
