wauw thats great news
This one matches well with a number I've seen over the years sell on eBay and various auction houses. I can't say I'm exactly sold on them.
We know what isn't real courtesy of silverscreensignatures.

Supposedly sold for $999. I hope it came with a car.
Hi
I have just joined this community and would like your expertise.
Do you think this is too good to be true?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Very-Rare-James-STEWART-Autograph-Signed-...
thanks.
Well, the autograph on the picture is facsimile of course. I'm not exactly seeing the indicators I love to see on the letter. $240 is way overpriced even if it is genuine though in my opinion. I'd keep looking.
How many times has JSA authenticated this very same autopen signature? Here's another one.

The other one I posted here some months back:
Each item an authentication service is being paid to authenticate deserves at least ten minutes of skepticism. These items wouldn't be deemed authentic if they got that.
Good point as it looks like this one if the sequence numbers IS D10955 matters may have been done long before the G10754 one. The problem of the D listing; 140734423989 is that a Top-rated seller hotcorner2980 with a feedback score of 20874 and "whoosing star" think they simply need to get a cert to make it authentic. In their defense.... it's an approved EBAY TPA and we all know the rest of the story.
if the TPAs take the time to cert something why can't they put a damn date in as well! hello - earth to TPA recorders.
I'm not blaming the eBay seller for these. It's quite frustrating that a professional authentication service would continue to authenticate the same autopen signature on the same photo over and over again and say it's genuine. Anyone with any expertise in James Stewart autograph has seen that, the most common autopen signature on that same photo a hundred times over. Where's the quality control? Do they care?
