Janis Joplin Autograph On eBay With A Gallery Of History COA(?)

I'm looking to purchase a Janis autograph, and found this one on eBay with a COA from Gallery of History. However, I'm not sure if the COA was actually issued for this particular autograph. What do you think?

Here's an authentic partial Janis signature for comparison. Look at the difference in the appearance of the "J"s. They appear to me to have been formed in a direction opposite to the ones posted above.

I dont see any similarities in the two signatures, and I would not trust that the cert is tied to that autograph. why would it say "Pearl" if the signature doesn't?

I noticed that as well. However, "Pearl", which was her nickname, is in quotes. Even if the COA was issued for a different signature, I doubt that the other one included "Pearl." I haven't seen one signed that way, anyway.

It's doing better than I had expected. It's up to $568.88 with about 3 days left to go.

It sold for $760. That's less than the value of an authentic Janis autograph, but not a great deal less. The winning bidder placed the top four bids.

From eBay:

What happened to the Gallery of History COA?

It's actually a different item than the one pictured above(!)

I see that now.  I misunderstood.

Are you sure that is authentic?

No, I actually don't believe it to be authentic.
