Mine arrived today, submitted the claim for a return label, will reply if any update....

I finally heard back from them today and they directed me to the return portal, it was only showing a partial refund minus $12 which I'm guessing is return shipping. wrote them back to let them know that won't work so waiting to hear back again. probably gonna get stuck with these because the return portal said they had to be in new and resellable condition and we had to open them before we found out they were fake. so not sure they will accept them anyway. I am so close to giving up on this aggravating hobby.

Terrible optics for JR. It was deceiving for sure. Don’t give up on the hobby man. We all get burned on occasion. Onward and upward!

well, I'm addicted so I probably won't be able to quit but I've sure been thinking about it. The hobby just isn't what it used to be and is becoming more frustrating than fun. between every third or 4th order being autopen and art cards becoming the norm I'm just not sure how much more I can take lol

If you don’t back charge , that’s on you. You were deceived. Google “DTPA”

Interesting piece to this is that it was somewhat self serving albeit it for charity. He said he wanted to make the record #1. He boasted about it on his YouTube channel. Proud of his accomplishment with web sales. I almost got suckered as well but thought to myself that something seemed off. So Jelly got his #1 by tricking his fans. What a guy.

The best solution (besides chargebacks) would be to inundate them with complaints.

That, and maybe if someone wants to reach out to some media outlets to get the story some publicity.

I just filed a dispute with Chase.  Took 10 minutes.

I disputed with my card issuer.

But I think the way to make them feel more pain is to make it so that they have to dedicate man hours responding to the complaints coming in.   These companies won't learn their lessons unless you make it cost them money to try to pull this nonsense.  If enough people complain it'll cost them in man hours paid and return shipping costs.  Hopefuly, it costs them enough to where you don't see that artist and their representatives even think of trying it again.

So I filed a dispute, a BBB complaint and 2 governmental complaints.

I might try to email The Daily Mail and put it on their radar since they covered the Bon Jovi fake CD story.

Great idea to get it into the press. 'Name and Shame' as well as making them spend money and man hours is indeed the way forward.

I’m publicly calling him out on all YouTube videos and shorts he posts in the comments section as well

That . But I think bad publicity in media outlets hurts much more.  Look how fast the publisher reversed on the Dylan things once it started to break.  I had zero problems getting a refund on my Bon Jovi after web pages and news outlets started to pick up on the story.
