I received this autographed Jim Croce guitar as a gift. I’m trying to determine if the autograph is real. It has a certificate but that doesn’t mean anything. Any thoughts?

Not authentic.

Ok so how can you tell? Any particular indicator that it’s fake?

I agree. Unfortunately, not authentic IMO.

how can you tell it’s not authentic

I reached that opinion based on a combination of the COA and comparison to a particular forgery style.

While waiting for more responses enter the issuer of the certificate's name in the Search Engine and see what there is to see.

This company is notorious for selling fake autographs. Also, I've never seen an authentic Croce signed guitar. You may want to see when your guitar was made. Was Croce even alive at the time? You can get a quick opinion from Roger Epperson who is an expert in Music autographs just to verify our opinions.

I don't think it's real.

the other consideration is the absolute rarity of Croce authentic autographs
