This is my first challenge to this forum where I hope to learn a lot about this amazing and passionate hobby.

I'm readdy to buy a Jim Morrison photo signed. Can you tell me what you think about their autheticity?...

Option 1: Photo rear signed

Option 2:

Both of them are from very reputable sellers with COA and obviously very expensive

Any help will be welcome!...

Thanks a lot

I have seen the first one years ago and think it is authentic. I would stay away from the second.

Yeah, I wouldn't feel comfortable enough to purchase it, but can't say with confidence that it isn't authentic. It does have some things that I like about it. It looks as though it could have been written quickly, and at an angle.

I agree...I wouldn't want it because of the slant, but I think the signed photo has a good chance of being good. The signed album page is something I'd love to own. I wouldn't have the guts to buy any Morrison without Roger's OK, tho. The more I know, the more I know how much I dont know.

I know what you mean about not knowing.

Well, the photo is being offered by Rock Star Gallery. It definitely isn't your typical Morrison signature, and I'm now sorry that I gave it the benefit of the doubt.

Ok. Thanks a lot for your precious help!... I'm gonna stay away of it!... :)

I think that's a wise choice.

Why be sorry for thinking it has a chance? I'm not.. I've never heard of anyone buying a genuine autograph from Rock Star Gallery, but who knows? They may salt one in from time to time.

Thanks, Steve.

I wonder when the print was made. It looks really clean.

Interesting question, Ballroom. I remember going into Starabilias in Downtown Disneyland a few years ago and seeing a pen-signed Marilyn Monroe inkjet printed photo.

I think as well that the first one is real... The only problem is the price: 4.600 USD!!!!!

I just can't sleep for a long time... :)

It's actually $4,600 or best offer. There have been offers of $2,000 and $2,500.
