Two pages. One with a partially signed Jimi Hendrix. No idea why the Hendrix is not completely signed. On the flip side is a Noel signature. Separately signed is Mitch on another page. The seller herself is from Carlisle and she apparently obtained the autos outside of the ABC theatre in Carlisle. Would appreciate opinions

No from me.

Very odd "set". Too bad to be from an evil forger and almost too good to be from an innocent fan. I wouldn't be totally surprised if they are real and really rushed or signed with the book held in the air but I wouldn't buy them myself, especially as the Jimi isn't complete.

Thanks for your response. According to the lady who had these signed, she obtained them outside the venue which might explain the presentation of signatures as they appear. Both the Noel and the Mitch signatures also appear to have issues. The Mitch in particular looks as though there was a struggle to sign on the first attempt as the paper is indented at the M upon closer inspection, almost as if the hand pressure or ink flow was not sufficient to sign against whatever was backing the paper. Anyway, the following is from the lady who had these signed:

“I met Jimi & the rest of the band outside the ABC theatre, Warwick Road, Carlisle 7/4/1967. I had skipped out of school at lunchtime! We chatted for a little while & Jimi was very charming & friendly. They were playing there that night but being only 13 I wasn’t allowed to go to the show.”

She still lives in Carlisle. That’s as far as I know. Thanks again

If the lady still owns the autographs I would think the chances of these being real is much greater. If they are being auctioned and the seller's identity isn't known then I'd be far more skeptical about any back story.

I do wonder a bit how interested a 13 year old would have been in Jimi Hendrix but maybe she was an earlier developer than me.

Thanks again for your input. I actually ran these past Roger Epperson who returned an authentic verdict. i think you are right that they were signed in a rushed fashion as it turns out

Quite possible. I just would not want to be in the position of selling it.

It was pointed out to me that the Hendrix page is signed “Jimi - Love.” I was looking at it as a rushed last name portion, but it clearly starts out with his “L”, and you can make out the “O”, “V” and “E”. Very cool.
