Also is the guitar itself valuable as this seems a lot of money?    Thanks for any help.

I personally don't like it and I don't think it's genuine.

Hi.  What do you not like in particular about it ; the sig or the letter or the whole thing please

I was looking at the signatures. And I think there is too many "humps" in both the Jimmy and the Page part of the signature.

difficult to see but Plant does not look good at all

That 's because it says "Rock On!" and not Robert Plant:)

that's funny!  I guess I REALLY couldn't see it!

I don't like the autograph and the grammar in the letter stinks,I don't believe JP would write a letter with such poor gammar, read the p.s. note on the letter,if it's secretarial they need sacking.....

yes I did have some concerns   but had faith in the seller whom I have purchased some music stuff from before that seemed fine;  However, 2 people already not liking this  does not bode well.

I don't think it looks right, although the signature on the letter looks good. But the grammar in the letter is terrible!

Even if it was a genuine signature on the scratchplate, it is way over priced!
I was thinking the price was too low.
Like the others I would have concerns about a couple of aspects of this. The letter is strange, bad grammar etc, but the autograph does look quite good, but I am not entirely convinced. The trouble I have is a) Jimmy is not a difficult auto to fake, so you have to be careful. B) for such a valuable item, could they not take photographs of the guitar in focus. This always concerns me, as even the close up is blurred.
If you were thinking of buying at that kind of price, you need to be sure.
I would search for a copy of his Genesis publications book with signed book plate if you are looking for a genuine Jimmy. Just my thoughts.
I don't like it.. The letter is enough to scare me away... That's definitely not his signature on the letter. Also that is an epiphone les Paul, roughly a $400-500 guitar.. Not a Gibson.
