I have lost touch over the last 15 to 20 years with how this inconsistent signer has developed so I am just not sure about this example which comes with zero provenance. I do "know" it is not contemporary with the book in question, so I am thinking perhaps someone got it signed on a recent tour.

Here it is and below it are two IP examples from many years ago. I would appreciate anyone's input. I think it's probably ok but - as I say - I am a bit out of touch.

From the handful of examples I've gathered up here in Canada, Irving's signed work is fairly consistent, place in terms of what I have signed by him. I know that for the publication of his most recent book, The Last Chairlift, there were a large number of copies that were distributed on a signed book plate - I'll get the examples I have and post them either tonight or tomorrow for a comparison and your review.
