My apologies if this has been shared already, but doesn't this John Lennon look a bit strange? It seems pretty off to me, though I am not totally familiar with all of Lennon's variations.

Anything that was signed...written....touched...used....owned or worn by John Lennon is a good investment. He is the most collectible Beatle...and the auction records prove this. The high end Beatles stuff can be better than money in the bank!!!

If this was being sold on ebay and not by R&R, I would bet my house that most if not all of the comments would be that this is a forgery and a bad one at that. Just my opinion.

I would have taken that bet.

Definitely atypical but then so much about it is correct. If someone was going to fake a signature and had the skill to do so much right would they do it all in such an unusual style?

I think it's fine.

+1

+ 2 ,why would they go with such an off J?

Thos is very real and im suprised anyone would doubt it, exceptionally rare, worth the weight in gold.

+1. It's a very desirable piece.

It only made 7500, whether that hit the reserve??

Don't forget they tack on 22.5% so make that almost $9200.  Fair price I think for both buyer and seller. I'm sure RR Auction is happy as they get the cash from both ends!   Frank Caiazzo had a nice Lennon/McCartney White album on his site that sold for $20,000 (with the Lennon probably from his '75 Philly radio signing).  Other that that, I have seen very few signed Lennon White Albums.

I own that thing.
Still a bargain at 9200
