I am still convinced it's good. Hopefully others will weight in. i could always send to Roger
Bjarne Soderholm would be great here. IIRC he got some IP in the later 90's. I'll send him a message.
Unfortunately these 95'-99' sigs are getting a bad rap and would advise to stay away for awhile. The claim is that they are the easiest to forge and always look like "fresh ink". Also, with the confusion of Tony Ford being Andy Peters (whether true or not) Peters sight has hundreds and hundreds of authentic Bowie signatures on it. Also handwriting, photos, blurbs, and info only accessible to those in the know or those willing to invest their waking moments to make sure that Bowie fans were given their fill of info. TPA's are very hesitant about authenticating Bowie right now, and often reject these 95'-99' Bowie's outright, taking your money for a ride....
Request him to remove it. The site is still up and running and listing newer updates
I just looked at what I have from Ford and my opinion is only more solidified for the reasons listed already.
I am afraid this thread will not get any traction with this title. I would start another with the question in the title "Bowie or No Bowie?" or some such.
Wow....those are some bold allegations being made above concerning this individual.
I had a Bowie from this era that had an LOA from him as well as a PSA letter (I think obtained later). I'll have to go back and look more closely. I'm not a Bowie collector as such and haven't really kept up. Reading this is unsettling as I've repeatedly encountered his name associated with Bowie authentication services.
This is not new - Peter's doesn't exist. This is known for some time and several threads here that show much more than I did can be read.
Here Eddy, read this thread:
Page 2 is where it gets interesting...pages 3 and 4 are all you need I think.
Thank you Bjarne,
These look just as I would expect. The last is superb.
Here is one I had from 1995. None are favorable matches with the OP. Apart from the speed which is very evident here and in yours, only the OP is top heavy or with that "B" starting stroke and shape. Your examples and mine show the typical stroke and shape for the "B" top.
