Anyone familiar with forwarding site? i'm trying to use forward2me for a bundle from her UK site. i got my forwarding address and im trying to check out but it not taking my payment. is this because the address for the card is a US address. is there any way to fix this?

I’ve used them a bunch of times, including for a shipment I received just Saturday. Did you fill out the item value section? There are a few blocks to check before you can check out.

i'm unsure what you mean by the item value section. I haven't used the service yet, this would be my first time. Gaga's site took the address it looks like it may be an issue with my payment. im thinking its because the billing address on my card for payment is a US address.

Sorry, I was thinking in terms of them having the item and wasn't even thinking about the fact that it hasn't even shipped to a forwarder yet.
I believe that her UK site does identify non-UK payment forms and shuts down the sale automatically on that basis. I think that may have actually happened to me earlier.

So upsetting that they geo-lock stores like this, like i get why they do it just stinks for people literally just trying to get something they have been dying to have one of. Thank you for your insight, i appreciate it!

I never used a forwarding service yet. Was about to in the past but decided against it. How much extra would you typically pay for this item? My thinking is, if im going to pay any extra, it might make more sense to see what they look like first. Let them flood the market and then find a deal. This way I could somewhat also pick out a good signature and not risk a surprise smear or mail damage.. Its just a suggestion so you don't let FOMO take over.
Ive also struck out so far on these but I have a store set up ill travel to on Friday. If its anything like the Red Hot Chili Peppers release, I could have showed up right when the store opened and snagged one instead of waiting. The amount of people going crazy for their online release did not dictate the in-store release at all.

I'm honestly not sure how much the shipping would be after the forwarding service received the item, there hasn't been a situation where i wanted the item strong enough yet lol. I have heard lots of success stories though!
After speaking to my partner that's what we decided, to wait until people are reselling and try and find a good deal, that is.. if our local record store doesn't end up getting some for sale on release day, they tend to be a hit or miss with signed items.
