What are your thoughts on this album?  The Page and Plant look off to me but its supposedly been authenticated by a very respectable authenticator as real.  Thoughts?

I'm not a Led Zep expert, but I did confirm from Rick Barrett, a well respected in person collector based out of Houston, that the album was obtained through either himself or  a couple IP friends in the area who he did a bunch of trading with. He's another dealer I would highly recommend. Has a few gorgeous Pink Floyd items in his store I would love to have.

Well thats positive news.
When i think of ip collectors/dealers ive always thought of just one person obtaining the signatures untill recently, the ip people seem to pass there items around to other ip people to have items signed sometimes.
It would only take a lazy ip person to forge something.

yup , there are only one or 2 in person that truly work alone ,that dont have a group off people at differnt at differnt locations or trade or swap.

i can tell u horror stories about stuff from ip people in nyc being copied in cars.

The Led Zep album sold for $699 on eBay on  September 6:

Rick Barrett isn't a comforting source to me. He comes up in this discussion from 2011: http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/led-zeppelin-real-or...

I'm surprised how often he has Led Zeppelins signed by 3 or 4, and other rare Led Zep autographs.

Rick has this Led Zep poster signed by 3 on eBay right now, for $4,800...reduced from $6,000:

Rick Barrett had this Led Zep II signed by 4 on eBay in October. I don't know if it sold or not:

Rick had this Led Zep program signed by 3 on eBay in November:

Mmmmm.

i would only want a signed lp with period signatures on it an old zep lp with modern signatures wouldnt do it for me especially a modern page signature on say a zep 2 or 3 ,a common ip earner is to buy a bonham signed lp for say 3k and get the surviving members to sign it and sell it for a big mark up i suppose some would be happy with that but i wouldnt want it with three modern signatures against bonhams even if it was a lot cheaper

Steve - Do you see issues with the Zep items you posted, or are you skeptical of him just based on the amount he has avaliable?

As you may see, I study Floyd more than any other band. Rick has this fully signed program on eBay right now with similar pricing as his Zep ($4,800...reduced from $6,000)- 100% real and beautiful.

I don't care for any that I posted.
