It would be great if he gets back to me.i agree that at prices above 25k I can buy and complete signed album.Im sure he's gonna sit on it for a long time.i told him that the offer stands indefinitely.
I don't mean to sound morbid, so forgive me, but are you at all worried that if Yoko were to pass on soon that the value will go up more or do you think the passing of Yoko wouldn't affect the value much?
I could be wrong Adam, but imo I don't think her passing would increase value.I'm my eyes,it's all about him period.

Mark chapmans double fantasy is the signed lp that brings Half a million, I believe. Any Double fantasy lp's a quite rare and you can buy them for around the 25k or slightly under.

The chapman LP is quite different than the Grapefruit piece as it is part of one of the biggest stories of the century. the grapefruit? Yeah was one of last signed but there is no other story behind it

Yeah i guess that was the point i was trying to make, theres certain items that will bring huge dollars from, The Beatles or Lennon. Like the Sullivan signed stage prop.
Still the book is a bloody great item.

Prices might go up cause everyone will have slightly less of a headache and will spend more freely....

This one is only £2,000.00 and while it doesn't have the doodle I would be happy at that price. For $33k I think there are better things out there, but I can understand how it is interesting being one of the last things signed.

There are a few picks ,that have been for sale over time, one particular book was signed for a artist who did a drawing in one of their books, yoko wrote in Japanese and john signed it, it looked great.

It's a good price...about $2500 USD. I think it would be a bit more if not for the awkward positioning of the Lennon autograph. But still...nice bold autographs. If I was looking for a decently priced Lennon, I would go for it. Now...if I was Bill Gates, I would drop the $33k on the other one.

Tell you what this grapefruit book would be a great auction piece!

Would 33k buy a block of land in the American country somewhere?
