Yes, I had also started seeing a few of these dubious CD prints myself too (I’m not keen on their authenticity, personally). That said, although it was certainly more obvious in his earlier releases, I do feel like the secretarial signatures are fairly easy to spot (which should help any refund cases with Banquet). Given Liam signs so quickly, it’s harder to define by existence of dot or height of G etc - as some will simply vary -, but I still feel like the secs do look recognisably different. Quite often they’re wider and seem less squished together too. Definitely easy for us collectors to become paranoid over slight discrepancies, whereas I think the forgeries are typically more recognisable than any that we’ve had to really question/debate…
All of this certainly does remind me how grateful I am for this forum though! The opportunity to compare against other examples is wonderful and I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been to spot the bad ‘uns across all these preorders without it!
Let’s not forget Banquet also did a restock a week ago which raises more questions at this stage.
Similar to mine, my current state of mind is CD OK, vinyl not so.
all getting a bit sad think everyone is now going to wonder if they including myself have the real signature.. maybe Liam will answer any ? on this on his twitter account?
He is not going to say it was somebody else, is he?
so basically no one has any faith in Liam such he's having other fake his signature ,bit sad if you ask me his he really that desperate for sales? cant need the money.
That mock up sig is an old one from years ago.
