Lot of Michael Jackson signatures... real or fake? (Forger Erick Oswaldo McKay, Erick Mckay Burgos) marc-at2014, always-4-fun, bluelifesaver, disneycolector eBay names

Hope I'm asking this in the right section...
I've recently bumped into this person's little collection of MJ sigs...

http://billiejean5809.deviantart.com/gallery/

My concern is that all those sigs look too similar... I'm thinking they're signed by the same person, but I'm stumped as to if they're really Michael.

Thank you for any opinions/help in advance.

MODERATOR NOTE:  All of Erick McKay Burgos' art folders on Deviant Art have been removed by him after being outted here.  They were screen captured before his removal and are listed below.   Please use them to reference as you read through this thread.

I was thinking the same thing. :)

Erick McKay Burgos eBay account bluelifesaver has 10 Michael Jackson forgeries listed (again).  He is asking $2500.00.

Nice clear English too--amazing!  When he gets busted on his accounts he usually pretends he has very broken English.

He had picked up those Otto Passes a year or so ago on one of his other eBay accounts jack_song (which he has since closed down).  Here is a screen grab of that purchase (I knew eventually they wind up with his forgeries on them)

eBay buyer/seller mktrade2001 bought the lot of 10  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jackson-autograph-super-combo-10-au...

Wonder how long it will take for them to start flipping them for a profit.

Measures approximately 3.5" x 4" and comes framed.

I have collected Michael Jackson autographs over the years and this is from my personal collection.

In excellent condition. No tears, marks or stains.

This has appeared again from seller gooddaysunshine on ebay usa. ($299 start)

(Previously seen on p16 of this thread from bluelifesaver)

She had two other Erick items as well.

I saw these a few weeks ago.

The Peter Pan VHS tape:

And then another signature of his that I did not save the link for.

When the seller adds  "This is from my personal collection".  Does that make it more real?   No - they were simply "flips".

They bought the Datsun car ad as well from Erick ie bluelifesaver account

Ericks MJ drawings are in the news again.....  (thanks Lizzie for the heads up on this).

http://pagesix.com/2016/01/17/michael-jacksons-huge-drawing-collect...

So Erick sold him 100 drawings....

Interesting note in the article:  Thalia does NOT know the woman who claims she gave her the drawings (I told Joe Brat last yr, this was a made up person, and that Erick had used this story before to sell drawings, and he blocked me).  Brett Livingston Strong has also taken a stand against the drawings

Joseph McBratney — aka Joe Brat, the former private investigator, current addiction interventionist and son of infamous mobster James McBratney — claims that he’s privately amassed the largest collection of drawings by Michael Jackson and plans to sell them to help at-risk kids.

McBratney told Page Six he owns 100 drawings by the King of Pop spanning subjects real and fictional — from The Beatles, Princess Diana, Abraham Lincoln and Charlie Chaplin to Bart Simpson, Peter Pan, Garfield, the Grinch, Mickey Mouse and Snoopy. He also showed us images of the works.

“Many people don’t know that Michael Jackson, besides being the King of Pop, was also a talented artist. His mentor in the art world was Brett-Livingstone Strong, with whom he created the Jackson-Strong Alliance collection,” said Jeffrey Gurian, whom McBratney calls “my Jewish consigliere . . . He advises me on everything I do.”

McBratney told us his obsession with the Jackson drawings began when he bought some Jackson memorabilia on eBay, including two drawings, and was then led by a dealer to a woman in Mexico who did not speak English but said she’d acquired a number of the drawings while working for Sony, which created the Sony/ATV music publishing company with Jackson in 1985.

(The woman also said, according to McBratney, she had a past association with Mexican singer Thalía — though Thalía told Page Six through a rep she doesn’t recall the drawings or the woman.)

McBratney said he’s had the drawings, all signed by Jackson, authenticated by an autograph authentication service. A rep for the Michael Jackson Estate had no comment.

“It’s a big responsibility, I put this collection together,” McBratney said, adding he wants to create a “nonprofit endowment to help kids . . . It would be a shame for this beautiful property to be anything else but a healing property for suffering kids and adults who would never have the chance to be in recovery or treatment,” he said. He also plans to launch an exhibition.

What authentication service signed off on these? I wish the article would have clarified who authenticated them and when the authentication was complete.

I heard it was JSA's Florida office. I haven't seen any of the COAs though.

On the Erick drawings, it was JSA as Steve mentioned.  Roger was not involved in the authentication of the Erick pieces at all.

Here is one of the coa's

I am unsure if everything Joe has is strictly from the person he states is the dealer in Mexico (ie Erick) - or if he picked up other items as well.  Won't know until they are "exhibited".

I wonder if JSA, PSA or Roger have certed many or any of this Jackson art since December of 2014. It seems all of the certificates are prior to this timeframe when much of the discussion regarding them being potentially illegitimate was really strong.
