I am hoping someone here can help me out. I have this signed photo and have been searching to figure out which concert tour or era this picture was taken. Any clues would be most appreciated.

The good development this discussion was the creation of a Madonna signature study discussion. My original post was to identify the origin of the photo which was found out. Unfortunately, the discussion turned toward authenticity, which I certainly appreciate. But, out of fairness to some of the posters I will not comment of Roger's opinion(which I have received). If someone wants to know the conclusion you can message me and I will respond with the answer. Accuracy it what this site is all about and I have benefited greatly by being a member. Thank-you.

Joe W,

Thanks for your understanding. Anything posted on Autograph Live is subject to discussion on its authenticity. As you said, that's what we're all about.

I'm glad AML has benefited you. We have a lot of members dedicated to authenticity.

I think you're right on these four, Kamran. They look likely genuine to me.

Here is my Material girl 1985 promo photo  -signed by Madonna in 1985

How big is that poster, Kamran? I think it's important to mention when the autograph is signed unusually large, since some signing characteristics change when the autograph is twice or more the size it normally is.

its a 8"x10" record company promo photo...and the signature is very clear as they were during the LIKE A VIRGIN period.....this example very rarely come up on the market these days..and are amongst the most sought after too....I also have the like a virgin tour programme signed on the front...I will post it soon.....but the signatures from 84-87 in my opinion was when she was at her best signature study wise

Holiday 12" picture disc signed on the front and back

It's a shame we cannot merge this thread (or parts of it) with the Signature Study thread. I'd love to see more early examples. I have one which I'm pretty confident about as it originally came from a respectable dealer but I'd like to see a few more examples before posting mine. Mine is nowhere near as large and loose as the 1985 example above (Material Girl) but couldn't have been signed before 1985 as the photo is of that date.
