Hi Pauline, 

This Monroe cut out is not even close. 

Strange it's a cut out of a alleged signed cheque. If it was genuine you would see the whole check etc. 

Do not buy this rubbish!

Looks ok to me. Although it could be a facsimile. The autograph looks ok, but the item probably isn't. If that makes sense. As a previous person said: why cut it out. I wouldn't buy it. Move on.

You are better off buying a signed check when they come up on RR auction for about $3000

Do you mean a photocopy or automatic pen? I've not come across the latter, and I HAVE seen people selling photocopies of real ones - a page from a book torn out that is a signed autograph.

I recognise this fraudulent hand. It is a practiced hand, but it's quite clear the difference in speed of writing and smoothness comparing top to bottom IMO
