Marion Davies legit?

Hi everybody,

I do know that virtually every signed photo from Davies is secretarial. But as far as I know her authentic sig I suppose this one might have a chance. What do you think?

I would pass on this, Kai. Still too neat and tidy.

I spotted the listing for this one. That seller currently has 5 Marion Davies photos and they all look to be signed by various proxies/secretaries. One of them even has a dedication to one of those 20s/30s era Spanish-language fan publications which are especially to be avoided, imo.

I know what to be aware of with that seller, but from one example I own and from a signed album page on HFS I thought this one might have a chance. But I'm not familiar enough with all her secretaries.

Actually all the other examples offered by this seller are obvious secs. Concerning this one I liked the style of "ion", the "D" and the "es" which look very much like in the mentioned examples and are very different to those in the other examples the seller offers.
