Does anyone know if Mark Allen Baker authenticates signed baseball memorabilia? I have a signed item with a authentication card with his name on it. Autographs appear to be real, but I'm no expert.

Mark Allen Baker wrote a HOF Baseball autograph guide in 1989. Generally speaking, it was a good guide, but I understand some people believe there may be mistakes in some examples.

I do not know if he issued COAs.

You should post a photo of the signature for opinions.

Thanks for quick response. Just added pics item.

Mark is a good guy, and a collector and researcher, not a dealer as far as I know. If he sold the piece he may have issued a COA, but I don't believe he offered independent authentication.

Fabric signatures are always tough, but I have significant doubt about these signatures. I would be surprised if that COA card was issued by Mark Allen Baker.
