Good evening guys, I purchased this hand signed autograph at an auction on eBay last night and I wanted to know whether I got the real thing or whether I got scammed, the seller seems to have have a vast history of sales on eBay and he claims it comes with a COA although not a PSA/or a JSA one but he promises it should pass any third party test in the description of the item,

id greatly appreciate any input, Thank you.

This is not authentic imo

What is the reason? I can return it back to the seller when it gets delivered to me (Most likely Monday/Tuesday) as he offers a 14 day return window because if this is fake I certainly don’t want to keep it.

This is not authentic, IMO.  It’s close, but looks too ‘drawn’.  The Lloyd also doesn’t have his usual fluidity.

100% fake! they tryed hard to get close but failed withe the michael j fox...the lloyd is very close. i see many fakes on ebay and a authentic fox and lloyd on a photo wil cost a few hundred at least.

Thank you for the input, I’m extremely disappointed to say the least. So basically the COA he mailed me along with the autograph and the hologram that comes stamped to the back of the autograph is all a lie?

This is what the listing’s description said “Michael J Fox / Christopher Lloyd Signed 8x10 - Autographed Photo - Hologram coa

NONE OF THE ITEMS WE SELL ARE REPRINTS. THEY ARE ALL HAND SIGNED BY THE CELEBRITY THEMSELVES AND BACKED BY A COA AND MATCHING HOLOGRAM STICKER ON THE BACK OF EACH ITEM.
All items are obtained in person by us directly or on consignment from another trusted dealer.
Each item comes with an individually numbered, tamper evident hologram that matches the COA. This process helps to ensure that the product purchased is authentic and eliminates any possibility of duplication or fraud.
We guarantee all of our items will pass any third party authentication from a reputable company such as PSA/DNA or JSA. 100% guaranteed. We would also like to ask that you leave feedback upon receiving your item that you are completely satisfied with. If not, please feel free to contact us directly and we will resolve your problem ASAP. Unpaid Item cases will be automatically opened by Ebay if you have not paid within 48 hours of winning the auction and a Second Chance Offer will go out to the next highest bidder. Good Luck and happy bidding.

I looked up your item to see who the seller was. After researching some of his other sold items I believe this is a seller to avoid. All the seller's autographs are, to be overly kind, suspect. Forget the feedback. This is junk and the final prices they sold for reflects that. Sorry.

Thanks for the input but basically the COA he sends with the autograph is fake?

The same seller just sold a Stan Lee signed autograph for 92$, If he is indeed a con artist how is he allowed to continue selling on eBay? He has over 500 sales

The autographs are fake. The COA is just a piece of paper. This item would cost more to authenticate by a TPA than what you paid. The seller knows this but believes the vast majority of people will not send it to a TPA nor find out the item is bad until they try to sell it down the road. There are more fakes being sold than authentic autographs on eBay.

"...So basically the COA he mailed me along with the autograph and the hologram that comes stamped to the back of the autograph is all a lie?..." "...Thanks for the input but basically the COA he sends with the autograph is fake?..."

If someone is willing to forge an autograph forging a COA should pose no problem at all. Holographic stickers can be purchased like Scotch tape and fanct printer paper. Fake COA's range from the totally meaningless, self-affirming and/or fictitious to forgeries of existing genuine COA's with fake duplicate items. One must be very careful.

"...He has over 500 sales..."

Don't let him have 501! :)

"fancy printer paper"***

I have to agree , got CL at LFCC and it differs from yours
Maybe ebay will be sued one day , hell in the US they can sue for even trivial stuff
