Apologies for yet another thread on Michael Jackson sigs. I'd just like to gauge opinions on this Michael Jackson from you knowledgeable Jackson folk. A simple Yes/No will be suffice.

And if someone can edit so that the image shows up automatically on the thread (as opposed to having to click the link) that'd be great, as i'm not sure how to do it
Thanks
I believe that is authentic. YES.
I'm no expert but this looks like a very good forgery to me.
As far as authenticity, I don't know. I'm leaning towards no, but I'm surely not an expert. You know what? The more I look at it, the more I start leaning towards yes.
Hopefully Roger will give us his verdict on this autograph Colin and I'm sure if you bought it from a Dealer who stands by his product then you will have no problem getting a refund if you are not 100% happy.
Hello, Colin can you tell us where this came from?
Hopefully this ' thread ' won't develop into another War and Peace but as has been shown once again opinions are divided and then you wonder how difficult it was for the fated AFTAL steering committee to come up with a definitive answer. When people start their sentence with ' I'm no expert but ----- ' you just think if you are not an expert then why offer an unhelpful opinion at all ? I learned and accepted after being involved with that committee that it is only people like Roger Epperson who has spent hours researching and viewing specific Music celebrities autographs that are worth listening to. I can tell you exactly where Colin bought that signed photograph from Carl, it was off my website on the morning Michael's death was announced. It had been in my collection and then I offered it for sale but it had been in my possession for several years and over a period where it was almost impossible to sell an M.J. because of all his adverse publicity. Colin was then warned by a third party that it could very well have been tainted by all the other M.J's which were up for suspicion and I tried to reassure him that it wasn't. Because of all the negative press these have now attracted the guy quite rightly wants to know if it is genuine or not. My personal belief is that it is genuine and no it didn't come from either Dominic Manning ( who I have never bought an autograph off in my life ) or Adrian. I have assured Colin that as I respect Roger's opinion and will abide totally by it and if he feels it is not genuine I will happily give him a full refund. I would ask people who are not ' experts ' to think twice before posting something which is neither helpful or constructive.
But you dont need to be an expect to comment on this site Ken. If this site were just for experts, then their would be a slight handful of individuals commenting among themselves. If someone feels confident enough or has the inkling, then by all means they should comment. I would say that just as many fakes are found by non experts than experts. So in the end it all is about saving others money, and it doesnt matter if your an exeprt or not for that. So you cant really get mad at others for giving their opinion on this item, even if it came from you. But to tell others to not comment unless they are professionals is total B.S. in my opinion. I understand its your item and you think (or possibly even know) its real, but just b/c some people dont like the item, doesnt mean they need to keep quiet with their opinions. You dont have to be an expert to comment on any item on this site, and Steve can correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure thats the way Steve designed it to be.
Hi Ken, you're right. From now on I will simply give my opinion without qualifying it by saying "I'm no expert." In my opinion, this autograph is fake because the 2nd upstroke in the 'M' appears to be tentative or hesitant, as if the forger wasn't sure of himself. Also, the loop in the 'J' shows that same hesitation which is not evident in any of the authentic Michael Jackson autographs. Michael's autographs are fluid and his strokes flow artistically, with no hesitation. This is a very good forgery. That's just my opinion.
