I agree. I was just pointing out the dynamic to Jose.

I think ballpoint is nice. In general I also like fountain pen signatures.

It looks real to me, but $5,995? I don't think it's worth $2,000. Not just because of the damaged album. More important is that the signature is light. The version you posted is one that's been enhanced make the autograph stand out more.

This photo of the album is much more accurate:

exactly! think the same here.

Good morning from Germany. My signed Thriller is also an "Not for sale copy" from this time. It´s quite similar, but dedicated.

Great example! let me know if you ever think on selling it.

$6000 for this is too high even though it's a nice vintage signature with PSA LOA.  Almost impossible to find signed Thriller's with no dedication for 2 grand these days. Seen some go at auction houses for 3-5 grand in the past year.

Thanks Bruce, I agree. Years ago I saw one signed album you had, I think you were selling it, do you still have it or you sold it?

Don't know the album you are referring to -- but nothing for sale.

The album itself is really rough, and the signature's actual contrast is about 25% of the photoshop-enhanced photo in the OP.
