Hello, these Michael Jackson autographs were recently put up for sale I’m stumped on them and don’t know if they are real or fake any help would be great, thanks for the help

1. Michael Jackson signed fedora this one has a photo of him singing it but you can’t see the autograph in the photo said to be signed in 2007

2. Michael Jackson signed thriller single this one looks pretty good to me

3. Michael signed Billie Jean (live) photo this one has a COA but it’s from “Piece of the past inc” personally I’ve never heard of them

4. Michael Jackson signed fedora there’s a photo of MJ singing it you can see the signature in the photo and it perfectly matches it

5. Michael Jackson signed dangerous deluxe cd this one I think is real but I want a second opinion

No to all.  I'd never trust that certificate either. The hat in that photo is not the signed hat you showed IMO - I think it is a slowly drawn copy. The hat in the photo appears to be signed with a capital "E" in "LOVE" and  some other differences such as the start of the"L".

What do you think about the signed dangerous cd and the first hat shown the one that just has his signature?

They look like poor simulations to me. How much is being asked for these things?

The hat with just his signatures was listed at a bid for  200$

the dangerous cd is at a bid for 2,400 no one put a bid on it

the hat with love Michael Jackson was at at a bid for 500

the Billie Jean Live Photo was put on a bid for 50

the thriller single vinyl was listed for a 500$ bid

By the way are you saying they are all fake?

YES, those start prices of $50, $200 and $500 are tremendous red flags. The Dangerous  - what makes you think that is authentic? Do you have an Exemplar that looks like that?

This one does look similar

That does not resemble the signature on Dangerous at all. As Eddy pointed out, and as has been mentioned in your previous posts, this is not a signature you are likely to find in the wild raw and cheap. I believe I already linked you to auction results so you could get an idea.  What do you expect to spend on an authentic Jackson?

I expect to spend 750-1250 on a Michael Jackson signature

This was $1553 at RR 6 months ago:

Hi Austin -

I am not knowledgeable of Michael Jackson at all but I do have a thought.

He seems to be one of those autographs that it would probably be unlikely to find out there for sale under the radar.  Maybe look for items that have been examined and passed already by one of the reputable authenticators (eg. Roger Epperson, PSA, Beckett, etc.).?  The reason I say that is that I've noticed that even the most experienced dealers often use these services before offering material like Jackson and other artists who are often forged.

Here's an example of what I mean.  This is one of the most experienced dealers out there who is recognized by most in the hobby as one of the best in the business.  And yet he uses a third party authenticator to add an extra layer of legitimacy when he handles someone like Jackson:

Again, just a thought.  It might mean paying more but also might mean having more assurance that you will be acquiring something that's good.

No disrespect to Roger, but I have serious reservations about that one you posted, Eddy. Ive never seen MJ sign so “flowery”

Could well be.  Like I said, I don't know MJ signatures at all.   Even more making the point though as this is a top dealer as well as a top authenticator who have both looked at it!
