A friend of mine, who's a collector aswell, uploaded these pictures of a single signed by Michael Jackson. I saw some days ago some preprinted signed photos for sale on ebay with the exact same autograph. What do you think? Is this autopen? You can also see that the ink is not damaged at all, which is weird because you can clearly see that the cover is dated.

I would be surprised if this is autopen, but I guess I would need to see those pre-printed autographs you mention. These machines that are in use today are so detrimental to the hobby. I'm afraid that they may even fool the top TPAs sometimes as well.

Signed photos, though, are among the riskiest purchases today, I think. Even though some people don't like to have the sticker attached to a signed photo, unless it is a vintage item, I actually like to see the PSA/DNA or JSA sticker on the photo. That way, I feel like there is a better chance that I'm not getting a copy.

That's not an autopen autograph. See how lines of the signature end in a taper? Autopens lift at the end of a line and don't display the taper effect. It's hard to tell if a signature is printed without seeing it in person, but it could be.
