Hi friends,

A few years back, I had the opportunity to purchase a bundle of cool MJ stuff from his one-time personal assistant. Among these things are his original insurance card from Blue Cross, Bad tour itineraries with dozens of handwritten notes (not MJ's hand) mentioning Bubbles, Brando, Dustin Hoffman and David Geffen as well as others, copies of his credit cards, driver's license, etc. and some candid backstage photos and a few autographed items.

Im wondering if any of you could help me assign any kind of value to these things, as I'm sure they are quite rare and worth something to the right collector. I know what the autos are worth, but I don't have any idea how to value the other things. I am currently corresponding with an auction house, but I would appreciate the input of my friends and like-minded collectors here on the best Autograph site of all.

Im not really looking for offers to purchase these things, and am not actively trying to sell them at the moment - just trying to get a sense of what they might be worth. Thanks in advance.

And just to be sure, there is absolutely no question of authenticity. These things are 100% original and real.

the auction house that sells mj the best is juliens even  though I think they sux and hate them

u can search closed autions from all moajor auction houses in the last 2 years to get an idea of price.

theres seems to be a never ending supply of micheal stuff coming to auction all the time

Thanks John! I appreciate that advice. Can I search past auctions without an account?

For re u need to register. For heritage u need to regester. Gotta have it not sure and juliens I think u can search with out but I have accounts with all so I never looked

from my experience one can search the auction houses for past items.

You only need to register to get the SOLD price and more information.

Give it a go dude

Thanks guys, Ill get on it today.

correct but that wont help him if wants to see comps he needs to be regesterd to see what it sold for

The only items to have any significant value are the autographs and original insurance card.  Copies of originals won't have any true value...and notes NOT in MJs hand is meaningless.

A personal assistant's notes could have value because they may give an intimate look at MJ's day-to-day life, his priorities, etc. When the notes were taken would figure in as well.

These were 1987-1988 Bad tour. I have photo all access ID passes, backstage photos, copies of MJ cc, drivers license, etc for provenance, Steve. Thanks for your input, I know they are worth something... and to the right collector...well, who knows.
