I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.
Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.
Here are some current examples:

You did? Sorry, I didn't see that. I'll delete the blanks.
Max, I have plenty of sigs that don't have the distinguished i. Its that style of signature that is off and rolling directly to a distinguished c and h that is bothersome to me.

Everyone:
Don't harass, belittle or intimidate members for having a different opinion than yours, no matter how much you disagree with them. Wascher is entitled to her opinion, and she and other friends of hers have found many Michael Jackson forgeries before others have, because they're so focused on them.
Max, I removed Wascher's name from your post and do not post it again please.
And frankly, I think Washer is onto something.
Clearly Max Richardson is going rather far to defend what appears to be, in my opinion, an "invested interest" in particular sellers signatures/merchandise. Who goes that far as to insult ones personal hobbies/lifestyle and opinions just to prove a point, like those who knows autographs ONLY focuses their entire life on it.
LOL....Let me give YOU a bit of COMMON SENSE.....at the end of the day, You could very well be right, and Wascher could very well be correct....neither of you saw the item physically signed/drawn so it would behoove you to atleast take into account that the autograph hobby relies heavily on integrity and ANY ONE is subject to intense scrutiny and analyzing and rightfully so. Most collectors like to be able to eliminate as much room for ANY possible doubt. So your attacks are so unwarranted, if ANY ONE had any possible objection to something that I would want to drop major dollars on, I would definitely want to hear them out. Stop being ugly to people and be kind...it's the holidays.
To chime in her Wascher has done extensive research and has found a great may items passed as authentic by authenticators that are indeed forgeries. I have studied MJ a lot and she has done a great job in exposing several sellers as selling fake items both with artwork and other items.
The problem is that so many people assume that because an authenticator says it's real then it must be real. Authenticators give an opinion and are human and make mistakes and the larger TPA's make a lot more mistakes. Some mass authenticate and give the green light to a lot of rubbish.
What Wascher is doing is excellent as it highlights what is clearly an issue and is making everyone aware that although there are some items clearly done by MJ when younger or older there are a lot of people who have traced items, added a fake MJ signature and are profiting by selling these fakes for a lot of money.
