Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

http://www.goldinauctions.com has a few MJ items for auction but no drawings. I like the following currently at $550.00 --

Any new updates on this topic?

It seems this topic is a black hole of sorts. First it took Roger and now it took Michael Frost.

There is nothing new to report from me (at this time) but who knows what tomorrow will bring.  I've not seen anything really "new" out there except the one Mickey tracing from Knaisz.  Knaisz and Mem Vault always seem to have very similar type items, possibly from the same sources.

Just like buses, if you wait long enough, another (fake) drawing comes along.....

Todays treat is a red Mickey on his toes, courtesy of seller avatar1000marinela on ebay Italy. This Mickey was last seen in Black pen from Gottahaveit in Nov 14. There is a COA from 'valuemystuff' who are based in London and the USA. However, the COA does NOT seem to have the 'VMS' watermark shown on the valuemystuff website, so it might either be a fake or a 'preview' COA even though It appears that VMS only charge £10 per online valuation).

The same seller also has CTE epaulettes from Knaisz...with a Knaisz COA and also a 'Knaisz' 'seller type advert below the item details...The description of the epaulettes says that they are from a London based collector, but the ebay description says the item location is Italy.

It appears that this seller might be ( or might be representing) Knaisz?

Here is the previous Mickey on his toes from Gottahaveit in Nov 14.

Also another Mickey with a similar tracing style ( a bit disjointed) from RR auctions on Sept 13.

2nd Mickey someone moved the paper a few times it looks like, as your right its a bit disjointed or misaligned in several areas.

Thanks for posting!

Well, the 'wrong leg' style of Mickey drawing, last seen I think at Knaisz in January, is getting popular!  Here is another on USA ebay this week ( 15Feb 15) from 'bluelifesaver', as part of a bumper package of 4 autographs, 2 drawings and a note from $49 starting bid price:.  There is a 'Studio Limited editions' COA.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jackson-autograph-with-full-COA-fro...

Note that the street address on the COA is in England, but the email address is a AOL.COM!

Very Strange, but anything is possible.

I'm curious that the COA says that the 'cutout' autograph on the CD has a date of 25/06/2010...or am I misreading the COA?  Anyways, I can't find any 'Studio Limited Editions' company in the UK on the net, although the address is a genuine one.

Also, the COA says that these items are a 'limited edition' 'produced for the collectors market'...so are these prints?   It is very confusing!

The  Mickey drawing seems to have the words 'production proof' and a date below, so this appears to be intended as a print.

Here is some comparison to look at.  I believe the seller bluelifesaver either bought this stuff from Erick or its Erick himself.   Here are some comparisons.

He also has this for sale here:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/231480059382  Again lets look just at the "love"

Love from the scarecrow

And compare to Loves from Ericks files:
